Pizza Dough

Hi,

I will apologise if this topic has been covered already but have only just joined and can see there are many pages to trawl through so thought I would be lazy and start afresh.

I made the pizzas from the Jamies Italy book on Saturday, the recipe worked perfectly but was too much.  This may be a silly question but will it work as well if I halve the quantities and could I freeze the dough?

Any ideas anyone??

Yes you can freeze it. Yo can freeze raw, you give the shape of the pizza and when yo need to used you put the ingredients and straight to the oven. Some people cook the dough on its own for 10 minutes and then freeze it.

Thanks for that, that makes sense because you can buy frozen pizzas so maybe should have worked that out myself.
