To be honest though, helping a lady down some stairs with a pram is actually something you should do automatically. Doesn't make you a humanitarian. In fact, not doing so would make you quite unpleasant. Actually doing something that involves really putting yourself out is more something to be proud of. Still, keep it up though.
Sorry, my first post in yonks, and it's quite negative. Just the first few threads I've looked at (in months) have either involved Jamie-stalkers or the self-obsessed!

Matt, seriously though, good on you... if only more people werent so selfish. The London Underground is shocking, the amount of pregnant women that get on and arent given seats! ive actually had to ask someone to get up before to give their seat to a heavily pregnant lady (i was standing), to which they grumbled!
