Try giving them a school meal. If not provided push the school to provide.

Sorry Arthur our schools in New Zealand don't do school lunches it's either bring lunch from home or buy at the school canteen that sells rolls,pies,
chips and sandwiches. Only schools who provide school dinners are boarding schools.By the way I do know what English school's dinners are like. I use to eat them.
