Yeah, think so.
a really really delicious fish recipe:
you need a small salt water fish. clean it, scrub off the scales. then place in salt water for 2 hours.
peel some potatoes, slice into thick slices, place in a long ceramic vessel (layer them kind of diagonally and upright) together with slices of onion.
take the fish, rub with dried dill, tiny lemongrass and dried seaweed.
add a bit of water in the ceramic vessel and then bake this in the oven. under a cover!
it will become soft, steaming. meanwhile boil a few eggs (5-7 min). then mash them. then melt some butter. add some ground pepper, sea salt and mashed eggs. you should get a runny sauce with pieces of egg. that should be poured over the fish-potato dish.
my granny is from Saaremaa island (take a look at the map of the Baltic Sea) and she makes this every sunday whenever she can get some fish).
P.S. she said when she was a child they collected regular green seaweed from water, it was very clean back then, and they dried it on the rocks, in the sun. interesting. kind of like Korea or Japan...
