Tail-end of hurricane system makes for a very wet & windy Britain...............not as wet this morning but the stiffish breeze is making it feel very Autumnal.
Won't be long 'til the leaves start turning.

My tomato plants are out & burnt already..........they had 'Blight' (the first time I have had Blight in any garden in almost 30 years) & I lost 1/2 the entire crop. There is always next year I suppose, but it's awful to throw away so many fruits & have so very few left. It also means that I will have to grow them somewhere else too, as the disease hangs around in the soil for several years. Blame the blasted weather.............too much rain combined with humid conditions.

I suffer with tomato blight too Min. I worry that I let it get into my compost (putting garden scraps in). I will try in a fresh pot this year.

It is a wonderful warm day here today! So I will try not to complain about the hot North wind this afternoon.
