Overcast but 20C.
Didn't realise the ferocity of the sun yesterday (yes, I know- stupid). Am sunburnt.
Hope Grub enjoyed her annual outing.
Wish we weren't all so busy and could catch up when we're passing through.
Know I've missed Frizz at least once. Probably twice ...

It was -6.8C this morning when I first took Tina out, with a very heavy frost. But everything looks beautiful. We had our first light snow on Thursday, and it's still here.

Beautiful snowfall! Swans swimming on the lake ( still not frozen). About -3 degrees, no wind. Winter tires now on my car. Making lingonberry juice and watching Jamie's Ministry of Food from the TV. Things seem to be very different in Finland and in Britain...

High winds and rain. Superstorm Sandy is causing this but we are at least safe in NC. (As long as we're not on the coast.) I am worried about the New York areas. They are suppose to get a direct hit.

I've got friends in NJ and relatives in MD. Hoping that all will be safe.
In the meantime, we have warm weather here (80s during the day).
