We've just come out of a drought (for about the last decade) so all rain is good. It rained solidly for a month earlier this year and no one complained.

It's around 100 f today. Very hazy inland due to the wildfires. Tomorrow is supposed to be the hottest day.
Funny because I'm getting a new range this week but won't be able to use it!

Well, alright it sometimes gets hotter than that...................but not often!

This is terrible of me, I know, but I didn't even open the blinds today because I can't bear the gloom outside. I've spent all day in jumpers and woolly socks making gingerbread. It feels so autumnal!

It's hot and humid, tropical levels of both as per usual for the D.C. area. It's either get into water outside or stay in a/c.
