Gluten free lemon polenta cake

Saw this today on a tv show (Huey's cooking adventures, and he said it was a river cafe recipe - so here goes probably two copyright violations).

Gluten free lemon polenta cake
450g butter, softened
450g caster sugar
450g ground almonds
2 tsps vanilla extract
6 eggs
225g polenta
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
zest of 4 leomns
juice of one lemon

1. Cream butter and sugar
2. Beat in almonds and vanilla, followed by eggs, one at a time
3. Stir in remaining ingredients
4. spread into greased and floured (gluten free flour of course) tin (the show used springform) and bake at 160C (they said fan forced) for 50 minutes. Cool in tin

Hmmm. Now there's a thing. Must be a good recipe! hmm
