My new show "Jamie Saves our Bacon"
Hi Guys,
My latest show called Jamie Saves our Bacon is about celebrating British Pork and investigating why our fantastic British pig farms are disappearing. Check out the microsite coming soon for more information, I would love to know what you think as well.

From what I've gathered, this is part of Channel 4's food fight thing. Perhaps one of you folks who lives in the UK can answer me this - what is this food fight thing? Is it an annual occurence, or this the first time it has happened? It appears to be a series (or mini-series) of different shows, by different awesome celebrity chefs. Am I correct in my thinking?

Nice to have someone with a bit of clout pushing this issue!
I've never intentionally bought anything other than British Pork (or any other meat, less salami etc.) since hearing a programme on R4 about 6/7 years ago

Just had a stand-up row with OH for trying to bring home the "foreign" bacon..........have made him take it back to change it!
Always have British Free-range in our house (including pork!) as I prefer the taste of "happy" meat!

I was reading about Channel 4's "food fight" programs. I sure hope some or all of them will air in Canada. You guys in the UK will have to keep me up to date on your opinions of the shows.
