Re: You know you're "tragic" when...

Speaking of decorative himbo's....

We watched some old INXS clips today & interviews... that man (Michael Hutchence) went from good, to bad, to worse... those early vids must have had a tops make up artist. Both sis-in-law & I saw them more than once... and though neither of us were exactly huge fans, were both put off by his posturing.

Morrison wannabe...  roll

My daughter asked when I was watching all those 80's clips yesterday how I knew all the words to all the songs..  especially as most of it she knows would not be my usual taste.. I told her it was the soundtrack of my early teens... before Gunners, Peppers, or even Bon Jovi had come out.

Daughter does love Cindy Lauper though... Maree, do you have her new album? I keep hearing it is good.

Thought Michael was *** (my deletions) on two legs.

Not into Cindy. Female musos (as usual with me, all over the shop): Deborah Harry, Patti Smith, Stevie Nicks (of course), Joni Mitchell,Suzie Quartro (sp) and kd lang

Hi Kimber, I still have the DC & PF vinyl but no needle to play it on! But I do have the cd which I tracked down in America. I will try and find the info and put a link on here for you! Can't let tradition slip!

Re: You know you're "tragic" when...

Hi, Bikerchick (I'm more of a tough old bird myself).  Hope you found your recipe; here's one I have used that is rather good:

http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/2 … 6324.shtml

The bike is a Kwak ZX6-R F2.  I've had it from new but I'm not allowed out in the winter (i. e. October to May in UK), so it's only done about 10000 miles.  Every year I think I must trade it for a BMW R1200S, so it may happen this year.  What do you ride?
