When small, sugar and butter sarnies were fab, also before proper flavoured crisps, salt and shake with branston sauce or malt vinegar, soggy but lovely!

Re: Guilty Food Pleasures

I don't feel guilt about food. I'm not sure I ever did and I'm very glad of it. Before I found out the gluten was a problem for me I would tend to have what I liked and if it was very good have a second helping. I'm glad of those decisions now because it means I don't feel deprived or that I missed out on nice gluten things.

However, my favourite things, and some of these are not conventionally guilt producing:
lamb cutlets
ricotta with a sprinkling of vanilla sugar
meringues
raspberries (eaten straight out of the punnet)
nice gluten free brownies (gluten replaced by fat, sugar and chocolate)
