Found this really tasty looking meat loaf. Have just also learnt a new word 'catsup'.

Has anyone tried mixing oatmeal in with the meat as an extender?  If so, how has it worked out?  Or do you use something else?

Talking about that recipe you linked to in which it says "catsup" in the ingredients list.

They list it as from the "Daily Grind" episode but I believe it is actually "A grind is a terrible thing to waste". In the episode when making the "glaze" he says 1/2 cup of ketchup and gets from the fridge a huge squeeze bottle of Heinz while saying any brand will do (while they flash on the screen "1/2 cup ketchup"). So I just found it interesting that the FN website has "catsup" in the recipe. 

In the episode he also says the recipe can be used for meatballs as well. Just form the balls, brown in oil and slow braise in a red sauce..but that's another episode 

I think Pakman is talking about Alton Brown's show "Good Eats".  I love his show....very informative.
