Hi from Deniz in Turkey Istanbul
I was just looking for internet tips for Jamie at Home and came up with this forum. Which is even better. I'm Turkish; have lived shortly in London in 1991-94; hope to get settled in an village house with a large vegetable garden on the Turkish Mediterranean coast. Besides cooking I'm interested in collecting and cooking with wild edible plants like nettle, chickweed, wild onions, traditional- old Turkish dishes, making homemade things like sour chery wine.
I love Jamie's cooking style and frankly believe he is the best. His dishes look healthy besides delicious. Chunky and filling food.
I would like to give some traditional local Turkish receipts which is not like the kebab and stuffed vegetables everyone knows soon. So I am looking forward to taking part in this forum.

ciao from Italy, I would be happy to learn your way of cooking vegs and cakes. Send a pic of the landscape where you live or of Istambul from your kitchen window to let us taste the flavour of ..................

We had only one brief week in Istanbul and found the food to be outstanding. Welcome to the forum. I look forward to your contributions.
