Extra thick double cream - what to make?

I have a pot of Waitrose Jersey extra thick double cream in the fridge to use by tomorrow, apart from serving it with a dessert, does anyone have any suggestions on anything sweet or savoury to make with this?

well jutta73...if I were you... I think I would pop of to M&S... get some of those meringue nests that they do , a packet of raspberries... go home and sit back at home spooning the extra thick Jersey double cream into the meringue nests and then pile on the raspberries and enjoy !!!

That is one of my husbands favorite easy pud's !!

Thanks Mummza, unfortunately and strangely I hate meringue and pavlova, and I have a sweet tooth, I just don't understand it!  hmm Otherwise that sounds so easy.

We make butter - put it in a screw top jar and keep on shaking until you get a solid lump of butter - you can then use the buttermilk to make scones. Making butter is a great way to keep the kids occupied as it occurs as if by magic!
