ban foi gras goose/duck liver = extreme animal cruelty

hi there to produce this delicacy  foie gras or fatty liver extreme measures of animal cruelty are involved. the treatment of these poor helpless birds is not for the faint hearted. google it , you tube it, look it up any way you can and then help stop this barbaric treatment. world famous chefs like charlie trotter, wolfgang puck, albert roux, celebrities phil collins, roger moore, establishments like air new zealand, britains royal menus, fdb supermarkets to mention a few have all condemmed the production of foie gras. over 15 countries have banned the production, now thats saying something. Jamie O have you publicly and openly condemmed this cruel torturous practice? if so thank you and well done. if not please do so right away it must stop now. if you buy it, eat it, import it, export it, use it, then the torture of these innocent birds will never stop. STOP PRODUCTION AND THEN STOP THE TORTURE BAN FOIE GRAS NOW!!!!!!  sad   yikes   hmm   mad  evil  help  oops  puke  shocked  angry  dribble

Re: ban foi gras goose/duck liver = extreme animal cruelty

I'm sorry but when I buy duck, it's just like buying chicken, if I can get the liver the breast and the back quarters thats about 6 meals sorted and it's very good for you as duck is the only meat apart from horse that has no allergic proteins in it. My dog (lucky dog) has a food allergy and can only eat duck, it has bettered her health by 60% in allergic reactions.
Animals are slaughtered and processed to be sold and eaten and are checked by vets before they are treated so, animal cruelty is about those animals who do not belong in the food chain and are killed for no useful purpose at all.
