Question from the Jamie Magazine team

Hi everyone,

My colleagues at Jamie Mag are keen to hear back from you:

“Did you buy issue 1 of Jamie Magazine but haven’t bought it since? Well, the mag team would like to know why. They’re conducting some research and would be really interested in hearing your thoughts. Please email contact@jamiemagazine.com by 28 October and you’ll also be put into a prize draw to win £50 worth of vouchers to spend at Jme!”

Thanks and regards

Danny

Re: Question from the Jamie Magazine team

I subscribed from the start and have all issues.  I have nothing negative to report at all!  Instead, everything has been top notch, from the customer service level to the quality of the magazine content and layout.  All I can say is thank you to the Jamie Magazine Team!!!

Re: Question from the Jamie Magazine team

I must say, I am one of they "bouht the fist copy and no more" brigade!

I do preffer magazines where there are more british food talk/info and more recipes than in Jamie's, if I'm going to pay £4 a pop then I want to keep it as a refrence manual for good, cheap ideas than big 5 page articals, and sorry Jamie but it's very "English" for me! Sorry but I may have to buy the next copy to rove myslef wrong!    hmm

Re: Question from the Jamie Magazine team

Tend to agree with Chelltic - it is not quite what I expected and I have paid the subscription - too much emphasis on trips to countries eg South Africe - where interesting - not quite what was expecting.  Looking more for the pull out recipes as in the bag of the magazine and please not so much sales of products please.

Wnat to be able to renew my subscription but at present not quite as expected - sorry! hmm

Re: Question from the Jamie Magazine team

I couldn't get hold of issue 1 - my nearest WH Smith is 30 miles away, too far to go for a mag.  A friend sent me issue two though and I've got it ever since.  Have not subscribed (thought it would give my OH a good idea for a Christmas gift - so have hinted like mad!!!)  I really enjoy the magazine.  I especially like the fact that it isn't on glossy paper and it's an interesting read with (plenty of) recipes thrown in.  There are enough magazines around that are mainly recipes with an odd article and I find most of them quite boring.  I read Jamie mag from cover to cover and I've tried several recipes - with great success.  To my mind, it's a winner - hope I'm not in the minority.  thumbsup

Re: Question from the Jamie Magazine team

I got the first issue (didn't actually buy it myself) and I did buy another issue (I think it was the 4th). I haven't bought it since because I rarely go into newsagents that would sell it. I haven't got a subscription because I don't have the funds for a mag subscription at present. Am getting gormet traveller because I got a year for $15. I might ask for it for chistmas.
