Re: Pizza

What temperature does it recommend in Celsius?

I always turn the oven up as hot as it'll go (250C for me) when cooking pizzas.

Re: Pizza

my pizza is ready in 10 mins at maximum temp. 250° and there is a special point where I turn the knob meant for pizza, my oven  is electric

Re: Pizza

I always make it as hot as it will go and give it plenty of time to warm up.
Sometimes I turn it down a bit when the pizza is in - some I make would burn on the outside before they are cooked through if I didn't.

Re: Pizza

As hot it'll go! Proper pizza ovens are super hot, so you need to try and replicate that. A stone is essential.

Re: Pizza

Lakeland and John Lewis have them.  Otherwise kitchen shops. Debenhams etc. are also worth trying.  You can also use a granite tile, apparently.

Re: Pizza

hot as it will go - good recipe to do - we always make loads of dough and then freeze it in one pizza portions - easy to defrost, dinner then only takes 10-15 mins at the very most and it's always so much better than shop bought.

my fave is pepperoni and sweetcorn smile  yummy
