Co-op now stocks Jamie sauces, I have also seen other branded products in Carrefour (the co-op here is more like a cross between Waitrose and Sainaburys not the Co-op's I remember from the UK)
I had some Swiss friends to dinner last night as asked do they know who Jamie is, they know he is a chef but not much more, nothing about the TV or 15.
They did love traditional English roast with all the trimmings, espically the potatos. I did make the mistake of giving them parsnip soup which they normally class as animal feed!!!, they did like it and they are getting more popular.

Hi there & welcome to J.O land. ![]()
I love parsnip - wasnt a fan befor but this year I was given some to grow in the garden & have been liking them roasted or mixed with potato & brocoli as a mash to go with meat meals. Very nice.

Parsnips are such a pain to get in Switzerland. I've never seen them in Migros/Coop or even at markets - where did you find yours, Chaletslave? I'm imagining having to snatch them away from startled cows. ![]()

Hi
I got mine from Aligro the catering supermarket, I am not sure how many there are in Switzerland, you do need a card, anyone can get one just go the the information desk as ask they will even give you a temporary card while you are there. If you have one close by the also sell loads of other things you can't get elsewhere
Best wishes
