Re: We need a food revolution in Texas!
We are a newspaper at Steele High School in Cibolo, Tx (not too far from San Antonio). Here's our story, we are trying to run an article about our food's nutritional facts however, after extensive interviewing with our cafe managers we always come against the same road block, no one wants to tell us the truth. Is there something to hide? We have contacted our vendor for our school district and they havent cooperated and said that since we cannot see the nutritional information since we are not paying customers. My staff and I feel that this is ridiculous since we are the ones consuming the food. We would like to turn our school lunches around!
We need help! Do you know anyone who can help us? And what do you think?
