This is a bit long for a haiku post, but I had this thread open, and it felt like poetry....
Morning stillness of an ordinary day,
Cups of tea in front of the computer...
But then
A tiny movement on the tree outside the window!
A rat?
Look again!
A baby ringtail possum
Bravely looking at the world.
Extraordinary day!

It is just brilliant how madamada thwarted The Man by coming up with a new name, keeping her old identity and posts intact. I must think what I will do to unchain myself from this stuff that directs and pushes me. Not a haiku, but I don't care a whit.
