Re: the neverending homemade haiku thread

That is lovely Mada.
This is a bit long for a haiku post, but I had this thread open, and it felt like poetry....

Morning stillness of an ordinary day,
Cups of tea in front of the computer...
But then
A tiny movement on the tree outside the window!
A rat?
Look again!
A baby ringtail possum
Bravely looking at the world.
Extraordinary day!

Re: the neverending homemade haiku thread

It is just brilliant how madamada thwarted The Man by coming up with a new name, keeping her old identity and posts intact.  I must think what I will do to unchain myself from this stuff that directs and pushes me.  Not a haiku, but I don't care a whit.

sharing people's weakness
when they tell you their fears
loudly
makes both a little riper
