I picked strawberries in my SiL's garden today. I'm making banana-strawberry pancakes for brunch.

Two Orange-tip butterflies playing chase-me-chase-me!
Also a great pile of feathers (Wood-pigeon!) & a cat with a limp.
It's clear he has pulled a muscle or something not too serious, but trying for the big sympathy vote whilst sporting grey feathers round his mouth, isn't destined to get him very far!

.............& a dizzying assortment of slugs & snails all wanting to eat my veg seedlings before I do!

The comments at the bottom made me laugh as much as the picture did! Some people should get out more.
As for my slugs/snails...........they all got p*ssed up at the party in my beer trap & died happy.

Hateful weather, i covered a few little plants with plastic pots when it was to rain heavily again, garlic and onions no longer exist.

I keep seltering little pots with peperoni and peperoncini grown from seed on our terrazza and I'm simultaneously starting to dry seeds in trays and baskets, sot that there will be no time when it's free for us to sit there for a summer icecream or a cold beer
