Re: What did you find in your garden today?

Maybe I should stop cutting my rosemary this year to see it it'll bloom.  I'd forgotten how nice the blossoms are on rosemary.  You see that all over California . . . not in this area where it's not quite hardy.

My azaleas are blooming and I have a borrowed view of a white dogwood - Cornus florida, Redbud - Cercis canadensis, tulips, Leucojum are just finishing, lots of wild violets - yes we encourage some weeds.

MsP, my climate is closer to California's than yours. I haven't cut back/ pruned either of my rosemary plants (I recently lost a third plant that was a cutting from a friend and not really healthy to start with. Such is life).

My "garden" is a bit if a "jungle" at the moment post Summer. There are photos of parts of it on FB and Instagram if you're interested smile.

Your garden sounds wonderful smile.

What's in our garden?

a few tomato seedlings.
an elderly Akita.
a termite, artfully disguised as a 9-month-old pitbull puppy.

A 10cm earth worm that escaped its sodden pot. Wish it was easier to post photos here.

Mr. Chipmunk takes the stone path to the deck to the other stone path, rather than walking the shorter route through lawn and garden.

Some nice red tomatoes from the vines.

I had some lettuce growing in the Aerogarden.  I transplanted them last weekend.  Don't know if the romaine will make it, but the arugala might.

Hi Joy & All! wave

Unfortunately we had a big storm 2months ago & a lot of blossoms were blown off our many plums trees here on the farm, so, our plum supply for Christmas is going be very little & that's if the birds don't eat them first....

Here's a pic of one of the trees last year - plums were soooo yummy !!!
