Cappy, Lovely to hear about your lemons, I'm so looking forward to mine, although our native little gall wasps are infesting the tree, so I might have to cut some back before the fruit come.

Lovely tomato Coco!

Ripe tomatoes (nice), flowering zucchini (although I don't know when I'll be seeing any zucchini).....

and HOLES!  Our pitbull must be looking for someplace to bury something.  The portion of the yard that has dirt sometimes looks like the lunar surface.   whistle

Rain drenched tomatoes looking a bit the 'worse for wear' after the fairly sudden change in the weather from hot to rainy and chilly !

Were both awake early Grandmadamada !
Well in truth I've been awake for ages as I have my head full of jobs I need to do for my daughters wedding ..
Today I need to make little jars of onion marmalade.
( and by shoes to go with my outfit !)

Re: What did you find in your garden today?

One zucchini (next time, I won't plant so many seeds).  And a half-eaten basil plant (courtesy of our dog), which had been sitting by the pond.

When I went out to see the damage, another family member said that our dog liked her food well-seasoned.  Never knew our bluenose pitbull would like basil.   hmm

Re: What did you find in your garden today?

It is Summer time here, but we are having a cool rainy week. The little garden loves it. Tomatoes have taken off, the basil seedlings are growing, I've just cut back the silver beet and got a saucepan packed full of leaves - cooked down to fill a 2 cup container.
I've got lots of coriander coming up, the chili bush is covered with fruit and flowers (but my Indian neighbour gets first go with them! She feeds my cat when I am away!).
I thought the oregano had died and started pulling it out, when I saw new shoots coming, so I have pushed it back in, and hope it survives the upheaval!
