Cabbage. It can be slaw, sauerkraut, stewed with beef, rolled into sarmas (either fresh or pickled), it's good in a stir fry. Also, the brine from a good souerkraut isTHE BEST hangover cure, so it's a big plus. Score two for the Brassicaceae family!

Hello, I'm from Argentina, my favorite vegetable, the leaves are green.
I love salads, fruits and fruit combines with, too. And different dressings (oil, lemon, vinegar, mustard, herbs, etc). Besos

I love them all ( except Okra ) and I look forward to the different veg at different seasons.

I am going to be all predictable for a redhead here. it is paprika. carrots come second.
but I also like brussels´ sprouts, cauliflower and green beans. I hate peas, avocado and radish.

coh-rabi? sand carrots, sweet potato, turnips, fennel, yacon..i love them all and all the so out of fashion(forgetten) veg...but i dont know their names, is butter nut squash a veg? it is my all time favorite in soups and grilled.
