Time Limit in Restaurant when booking table
Is there a time limit on how long you can have a table for in your restaurant in Manchester? Have just booked and had an email back saying - the following special condition will apply - please note you will have your table for a maximum of 21/4 hours - are you keen to get rid of us? We are a table of 10 out for a celebration lunch at 3pm

Actually 2 1/4 hours for lunch should be fine. On a dinner res I would have a problem.
Just call them I'm sure they will explain or accommodate.

A celebration lunch in just 2hrs 15 sounds impossible to me....perhaps they supply paper bags to pack a few cheeses along with the deserts.

Since the OP got an email informing him of the time limit it must be automated response. I just tried to book a table for 10 lunch it does not give you the option for time or type of function. This is best dealt with by calling and having the friendly person at the venue rectify the situation.

I thought it read 21/4 hrs, or 5.25 hrs if you divide 21 by 4. Silly me.
