Native American Diet

Dear Jaime,
  I signed up for your site to make one and only one statement. Why don't you go from reservation to reservation and show the tribes how to work within their traditional diet. They are not only losing their languages but their health. This would make a difference in the lives of so many children. The Havasupai at the bottom of the Grand Canyon are the current classic example.

very interesting idea. Oy, Jamie, you should indeed do this. But what are the reasons why they eat badly? Lack of money, lack of farmland? Lousy living conditions and poorly equipped kitchen?
