Great discription of the day .

Last time I went to the Jamie's Italian here in Cardiff , my friend and I shared starters of some huge green olives that we're served on ice  and some fried ravioli , both of which I love.
She has some squid ink spagetti and I had honeycomb canalonni , the honeycomb canalonni were filled with 3 different fillings and instead of long tubes being layed down to cook these were short tubes ( long cut into 2 or 3 ) which were stood up to cook ! Really yummy .

Tell your daughter that it would have been the crushed ameretti biscuits that dressed her pasta dish . Ameretti and pumpkin god very well together . I have also had similar to that dish before both out and at home and it's really good .



What's the issue with photos on your blog ?
I find I have to resize the photos a lot before they get accepted and that the photos with a lot of red in them need to be chopped smaller than the photos with for example blue in them !!  Drives me nuts , especially as I have been going to all the supperclubs to write about them on the forum for you all . Last months pictures were not what I hoped because of this .

Mr Spice, if you are planning a mid-week lunch at Jamie's Italian, I would recommend arriving at 2pm when the queue has died down.  We waited just over half an hour when we arrived at 12 but by the time we were leaving there was nobody waiting and quite a few empty tables.  We will do a late lunch next time.  I hope the weather is fine for your visit to Sydney.  It's the middle of winter here but our temperatures are higher then most of England at the moment, not sure about Germany.
