Leftover rib eye roast
Hi, I've got a fairly decent amount of rib eye roast leftover from last night that i'm hoping to use again tonight. Was thinking about making it into a steak an ale pie but don't know if this will spoil the flavour of the meat? Any other ideas welcome ![]()

Try it on a sandwich with some chimichurri. It's great!

It won't spoil the flavor but it might spoil the texture. Such a tender cut of meat gets tougher as you cook it longer. It should be ok if you're just warming it through but the least amount of time it takes to cook it up the better. Maybe cook up the filling without the meat and add the meat at the last minute.
Rib roast is one of those things I eat as leftovers just by itself as a steak with freshly whipped mashed potatoes. Yum.
