Black Pepper Sauce
I've eaten plenty of it but never made it myself.
So yesterday, I had a go.
I searched the net and came across a number of recipes which all appeared to be somewhat complex and most included ingredients which are not readily available here.
So I compromised on this:
Heat 250 ml yoghurt to just below boiling. Add 2 tblsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 tblsp whisky, 2 tblsp whole black peppercorns and season with a little salt and ground black pepper. Simmer very gently for 5 minutes.
I found it to be very good (unlike most of my compromises).
