Yes because there is nothing that states animals below a certain age are not allowed.
I wouldn't want to eat it purely because of the cringe factor.

I think it is good there are people willing to eat that. For cows to produce milk they have to give birth each and every year. Milk drunk by calves is milk not sold by farmers. If farmers do not sell young calves as meat they are wasted.

So I'm glad there are others that eat it. It is just I wont be one of them.
