350g chocolate for cooking
100g white sugar
60g plain white flour
Preheat the oven to 180º/350F/gas 4.
Break the chocolate into small pieces, melt it with butter over some simmering water and mix until smooth.
Outside the stove add the sugar, the flour and finally the egg yolks.
Beat the egg whites until frothy and mix in.
Pour the mixture into a greased cake tin lightly dust with flour.
Bake at 180º/350F/gas 4 for 22 to 25 minutes.
Dust with icing sugar and serve with vanilla ice cream.
