Who has noticed that. .. ...
Both great and grate have eat and ate in them.
This has absolutely nothing to do with anything. I thought of this while replying to Salt’s post and I can’t get it out of my head. It’s just stuck there.

The only way I can get rid of it is if someone makes a sentence with great, eat, grate and ate in it, in sequence and grammatically correct.

it'd be great to eat some fresh spag bol; we like it with freshly grated parmaesan and expect to find that afterwards, we ate it all.
