Meringue

OK, so I just had a go at meringue (after two failed attempts over winter). Made the mixture, stuck half in the fridge and half I made into little meringue dollops in the oven. They cooked alright, and came out crispy with a nice gooey centre.

I then go to pick up some shifts at work, get back and they've gone soft. What gives?!

Re: Meringue

That may have been your problem beast--The moisture in the air  probably made them mush! Try it again and see--- Good luck!

Re: Meringue

Success!

I kept half in the fridge, whisked it up again and cooked it. It came out crispy with a gooey base and I enjoyed it with some grapes.
