We Love Poetry *_*
I love poetry!
I read and I write.
I hope we can appreciate poems together and exchange views.
When I leave my peoms here bravely, I hope you can remark them frankly.
I also welcome your works and words anytime. ![]()

CHILDHOOD
The tear down childhood's cheek that flows
Is like the dew - drop on the rose;
When next the summer breeze comes by,
And waves the bush, the flower is dry.
----- Walter Scott
Please treasure what you are having in hand. Even if it is bitter and it is hard, so long as you are not dying, you will get over it. Then all the bitterness and difficulty become the precious memory in heart.

LUCY
She dwelt among the untrodden ways
Beside the srings of Dove;
A maid whom there were none to praise,
And very few to love.
A violet by a mossy stone
Half-hidden from the eye!
Fair as a star, when only one
Is shining in the sky.
She lived unknown, and few could know
When Lucy ceased to be;
But she is in her grave, and O!
The difference to me!
------ William Wordsworth
PS: Extremely love ' she is in her grave, and O! The difference to me! '.
When someone or something I used to have suddenly no longer exists, maybe it is absolutely not count to me, I think of it, and I still feel an instantaneous vacuity, probably because its place has been replaced by an O .

It's my work! A poem from Law_1987.
MON AMOUR
Mon amour!
You had to be at the shore
And picked up a shell,
And picked up our sweet menory.
Mon amour!
You had to be in the trees
And took away a leaf,
And took away our little worry.
Mon amour!
Then where would you be?
You have no wings
So you can't fly across the sky!
But you went quietly by the lake,
Held a handful of water
And you owned the clouds.
--------Law_1987
A few days ago, one of my teachers, Rainer, taught me a french word
" Mon amour". It means "my lover". And it inspired me to write this peom. I am quite confident in the feeling I'd made, but I'm not sure whether the tense and words are right. For example the tense of " You had to be at the shore" and " where would you be". And I'm not sure the words in " held a handful of water".
I frankly welcome your remarks and suggestion.
Thank you very much!

Your presence is
a present to the world.
You're unique and
one of a kind.
Your life can be what you
want it to be.
Take the days just
one day at a time.
Count your blessings,
not your troubles.
You'll make it through
whatever comes along
Within you are so many
answers.
Understand, have courage,
be strong
Realise that it's never
too late.
Do ordinary things
in an extrodinary way.
Have health and hope
and happpiness.
Take the time to wish
upon a star.
And don't ever forget.....
for even a day.....
how very special you are.
