On the radio

i have got the chance to go onto a local radio station http://www.brfm.net/ ( a friend is one of the dj's ), and i was thinking of starting with 'sunday roast' as a first subject...

how it works, is - i make the questions that i want them to ask, and then i just answer them ( pre-written )

if it goes well, i could have a slot every few weeks to talk about healthy eating, eventually moving to be more involved and promote other more and 'in depth' subjects, all around food

this will not be a 'professional' advice show, it will be about how a person who is not a chef, or even involved in anything cullanary, can have a healthier lifestyle, showing how easy it really is,

I was looking for questions you would ask if you had the same opportunity, and i will try to answer as many as possible  big_smile

cheers

Re: On the radio

Some questions that come to mind are:

How do you season the meat?  How do you know how long to cook it for?  How do you make a good gravy?  How do you cook crispy roast potatoes?

I think this sounds really exciting, and wish you the very best of luck!!

Does BFM have a "listen again" option so that we can all listen to you?

Re: On the radio

Hi Salty,

What vegetables can I roast apart from potato, pumpkin, carrot, parsnip and onions?

Which vegetables suit which particular meat?

Which herbs go better with certain meats?

Which are the healthier options of roasting. ?

Cheers Shammy smile
