i know the claw technique so u dont cut your fingers off...
but i have a bad habbit of cutting on and angle or something can i get some advice on how to improve this? thanks in advance

try looking on the other side of what you are cutting. Most people will look at, the side closest to them, the side they are holding, easier to get even slices if you look over your knife at what you are cutting, it will feel unnatural at first, but you will adjust. Usually that will help
