Re: What beer is in your fridge?
Cor blimey seems a lot of you drink "wife beater" !!
My fridge usually has Carlsberg in there, got a taste for it in Cyprus (as they have a brewery there). However sometimes we get other beers in like "Super Bock" (from Portugal holidays), once even managed to source "Efes" (after Turkish holiday) and the odd other things from time to time... My next alcohol hunt is for "mead" which I haven't had for years (not since the local big off license/wholesale supplier closed down !)

Ashen, the negro modelo is awesome!
Eddie, when we go out with friends we get a few of those pitchers although it's usually Rickards Red.
I have to admit I haven't heard of some of the international beers. I do agree we need a smilie holding a pint though
let's see if we can find a "cheers" one.

Do try out la Chouffe!

La Chouffe has this hideous gnome on the label.
Lovely beer though.
Not proud to say but I had my one and only black out ever after drinking that one(s). Added that to the already half a bottle of red wine and two mojitos... ![]()

Thanks for sharing; I think we've all had those less than proud moments!
Lagunitas Pils, http://www.lagunitas.com/beers/pilsner.html , and New Belgium IPA--seriously hoppy, that one.
I've been thinking about brewing my own, but I have no clue where to start, and I don't know if I have the room for it. The hops shortage has raised beer prices so much though that I've been drinking wine more than beer lately...

Hi Steve,.......Mead is something I get when I visit the family, & although its desperately expensive comparatively speaking, it is wonderful in summer desserts. Have you tried making syllabub with it?
