Re: Spam and advertising on the Forums
Does that mean we aren't allow to link to relevant posts outside of this site?? I have in the past linked back to my own blog and a couple of posts which I wrote about Jamie's shows. I've had people visit my site through this, link, but I don't see why this would be seen as a bad thing. I'm not promoting any products of my own, just promoting and discussing the brilliant work that Jamie is doing.
Isn't this sort of linking allowed anymore? I don't want to be accused of spamming the site!!!

Re: Spam and advertising on the Forums
I have just arrived here and its a pity that we cant give each other advice about other companies we have used and loved. I love a company called the favour gallery for all my christmas table decorations. I also used them for my wedding favours. Everything they do is made by hand, not often seen these days...

Re: Spam and advertising on the Forums
Hi there
It is fine to have links that relate to your posting and that can further help the person who has posted. We had a particularly bad spate of spammers earlier this year and every now and then someone posts with links to buy cheap shoes and bags. I do my best to be on top of this and delete as appropriate. As well as this our wonderful forum members from around the world report to me immediately when there is a spammer on the site.
Kind regards
Danny

There's a new thread called 'Dissertation Help' which looks like spam but I don't know how to report it...
