Re: Nora's Kitchen

Hi All wave  Long time no see  oops

I thought I'd drop by after Ann reminded me the other night that I hadn't visted in ages. I have to say after loosing the internet for 3 months when I moved house earlier in the year & then loosing Nora's I have gotten out of the habit of popping along.

Glad you all seem to be doing ok, Michelle I can't beleive Rhys is 1 already !!  My neice was 1 in Oct too and my Aims was 7 in Sept, Nathan will be 11 next month. This last year certainly has flown.

Am hoping to meet with Ann when she & her OH pop over to England in December, we will report what Jamies Italian is like after our visit  wink  (providing we can get a table  lol )

Anyway, will try & pop by more often,

Take care
Dougs

Hi all!

Best wishes to Master Rhys - hope he is well enough to enjoy his birthday properly.

Things here are CRAZY & set to get worse - the school fete is on Friday the 13th, loads of work yet to go to get it done, the Sat I will spend sleeping on the grass at my nephews birthday party & then Sunday is the charity car show that Im helping cater.

OMG - my feet hurt in anticipation.

Ann, you lucky lady.  I am very jealous, I am sure you will have a great time .. not to many sleeps to go.

I have copied a link below (hopefully it works) of my beautiful boy.

Re: Nora's Kitchen

The name is a great big trick really Ann  lol  lol  lol

I suppose at some time the prizes were probably chocolates - it looks like this -

http://www.starburstgames.com.au/images/spinwheel2.jpg

well sort of - ours is plain blue witht he school crest, homemade & has numbers in no particular order from 1-100 around the edge.

We sell 100 tickets for each round - $2 a ticket & the prizes are all the things donated to the school from local business's - each prize pack will be worth at least $50.

There are vouchers from loads of local hair dressers, beauticians, nail techs, for classes in martial arts, the butcher, local jewellers, some have donated stock such as hats/clothing, a very cool framed picture of the local footyteam etc, baskets of beauty products, sports pack including soccer & football, a 9kg BBQ gas bottle, loads & loads of stuff was donated to be given away as prizes.

We are local the local business's are so generous.
