Hi Mummza. Sadly i don't get around as much as I'd like, though I was in Whitby the other year and ate at the Magpie Cafe. Great food and absolutely huge portions too. See http://www.magpiecafe.co.uk. You need to get there early though, as people will be queuing up along the esplanade not long after noon.

Does that mean you need volunteers to help you check them out , I am sure we can provide many from here  thumbsup

Magpie... looks a posh chippy to me , if I get to Whitby again sometime we will try it out.

Caroline Street a.k.a. Chippy Lane as it is known to all in Cardiff (, but those outside Cardiff call it Chip Ally ...wrong title ..its Chippy Lane .. you have been away from the place too long Paul.)

Please Please Please reprint last years christmas edition of the magazine someone swiped mine (cant blame them)...........it was the best and I need another.........

Got to be "Skippers" in Euxton, Chorley (Lancs).
Winner of Fish and Chip Shop of the Year 2010 - it's official! Not only is the food superb, but they have their own Facebook Group as well! clap
