Re: What did you find in your garden today?

Some catepillar (?) came in last night when I brought in my coleus plants because it was too cool.  Overnight, they have eaten an amazing quantity.  I hope MrP can help me 'see' them and pull them out.

Re: What did you find in your garden today?

Welcome Raj21! big_smile  I had never heard of yautia, it looks like a great thing to grow!
Heather your front yard must be beautiful! Mauve is definitely my favourite for wisteria.
The one near my back door belonged to the house next door and ran like a roof over their driveway. Glorious!
When the house was demolished it was cut to the ground, but they have left the block vacant and now it has regrown on our fenceline to an untidy mound several metres around and just turning from grey to purple!
Ms Pablo I hope you and Mr Pabs can get those pesky caterpillars!

Joy, not to brag but I think it looks great. With the wisteria everywhere and the roses and fresias it's just great. Mixed among the natives like the grevillia and the bottle brush.
It's a shame that my veggies are a tad slower out the back.

Cheers Heather smile

Yes, Joy..............they are furious! (That was a joke!  wink  )

We have a lot of them around here, completely wild (not from a Hatchery or anything) & now they are starting to get their proper winter plumage, they are beginning to look stunning.

Mind, the best way to have them is in a casserole!

I'm with you on the casserole Minerva.  We have them here as well, and they lurk about sending the pup mad............it's a good job they can fly, as she'd be reducing their numbers drastically!

a lone  ripe scotch bonnet chile I somehow missed ever seeing growing on that plant.  some fall raspberries the ants somehow missed,  parsley that has finally grown and seems to laugh at me after I had given up on it.   the very last of the Basil plants that seeded themselves all through my chile plants somehow.    Very very little left to be harvested now though..   Rosemary , thyme and parsley soon to be brought in and dried is about all that is left.

Hoping to find healthy zucchini plants with some squash on them.  Hopefully, the guy who came around to feed the cat also watered.  I'll know in the morning.
