Hi Eddie Thank you very much you say welcome me.
I hope you understand Japan has a lots of healthy food.
I wish I could tell everyone.

Hi Ashen, you do not need frightening "fu" .
That is very good for you.
"fu" is made by Flour.
Do you know "sukiyaki"?
We put "fu" in sukiyaki sometime.

Next time I am in the local Asian market, I will ask them if they have it.  Otherwise, I will check in San Francisco.

Re: What have you been cooking lately?

Piccalilli After jarring them up and giving some away we have 4 jars left. One we will eat now, mainly because the lid on the jar isn't closing tightly. The rest, which the lids are fine, we will put away for Christmas.

I've gone a bit lemon crazy for some unknown reason? Lemon drizzle cake, lemon chilli chicken stir fry, lemon and herb roasted lamb, etc, etc. All washed down with gallons of fresh homemade lemonade   big_smile

Re: What have you been cooking lately?

I have been using rainbow chard in just about every dish I make lately, either that or the greens from beetroot.  They are both just overflowing in the garden (which I love, so it's ok by me).  I've done fish & chard curry, sauteed chard in olive oil & garlic, I've even used chard on my pizza in place of arugula (works well if you chop it finely and discard the stems).  Otherwise I've been BBQing chicken, steak, burgers, rainbow trout, and salmon.  Eating a lot of cold rice noodle salads with herbs and romaine lettuce, sweet thai chili sauce as a dressing.  I also experimented with baking some bread rolls the other day, using spicy squash and another using dried apricots and roasted hazelnuts (both recipes from one of your old cookbooks, The Naked Chef Takes Off).
