This weather sure is the pits, Grub. Yes, thank you, he got home safely yesterday but won't finish classes until 9pm and it is *bucketing* down up here (and down there from the news on the car radio).
It's wet, chilly (for this time of the year) and miserable and it's probably "in my head" but I have the sniffles (again). Dash to the supermarket to buy chicken drumsticks for boring but comforting chicken, veg and noodle soup.
That's dinner! Will probably have seconds. Rarely eat/bother with dessert when "home alone" but have some fruit on hand in case I get a (rare) "sweet" craving.

Meatloaf sandwich (made meatloaf last night) and stir-fried asparagus. Want to make Malaysian fish curry tomorrow if I can find the ingredients.
