It was risotto. The one that was featured here on the site, with gorgonzola, apple, and walnuts. It was very nice. But what about the leftovers?
Risotto cakes.
Make little patties from the left overs (with wet hands). Dip them in flour then egg then bread crumbs, and shallow fry until golden.
Thanks! Sounds great!

Re: Whats For Supper?
Grilling successful!!!! I grilled a potato, an ear of corn and a ribeye. Next time I need a thicker piece of meat. All in all, it was easy and good.

Coco, you need to search for the BBQ thread now!
We are having a sausage, bean and tomato dish with smoked paprika and I can't remember what else is in it but it looked quick and easy so I hope it's nice. Must buy some fresh crusty bread to go with it and something green because you can't have dinner without something green on the plate ![]()

bbq'd chicken. just dry rubbed and cooked low and slow on the smoker, no sauce. rice and carrots and salad.
Yesterday was hot potato salad( we call it german potato salad here) grilled lamb shoulder chops and salad. I made a batch of cornbread as well with white cornmeal and crispy bacon in it earlier in the day .
