Re: Disappointed
I was thinking today while making my evening last minute shopping for supper we could blog or post a list of ingredients we have taken home and ask forum members to devine what we are going to do with them
I bought
frozen peas
three slices of Praga ham
fresh cream
mezze penne rigate (pasta)
ma mix of clean mushrooms
once at home I changed my mind and since it was so cold by bike, I made a polenta mushrooms on their own and peas aswell, a quick veg soup with what I had in the fridge
the question is what did I have in mind first

Penne rigate with mushrooms, cream, ham and peas. But I'm cheating because that's one of my family's favorite meals. ![]()

well just now, like NOW the members of my old forum formed a secret society on Facebook. shh. secret. but we are close as ever, even if we dont post on that forum, it was an epic time and we got to know people who are our kin. I think the same goes here. a fellowship-family doesnt break apart.
This is quite true..........the majority of my FB friends are past/present JO-ers (I list them as the JO Superclub).

Hi all, I've been a member for some time but I have found that my shyness in person has travelled to the forums I wonder if this is the case for others. I love reading your posts but can't seem to think of the words alot of the times to convey my feeling/thoughts, most of you are so wity, funny, smart and familiar it is just easier to watch from a distance. This is not a criticism but an envy if anything.
I know that I just write down what I am thinking at the time and more or less as I would speak .
Sheryl , just do the same and join in plenty and the words will just flow !

Me too
As all of you know , who know me on facebook ... I mainly just play those stupid games that keep me occupied !
( sorry of you get swamped with endless, mindless game alerts ), but I do sometimes comment on a thread or photo.
I do wish that some of the old JO forum members who seem to be totally concentratiing on facebook would retern and join in again , I have to admit that I have not accepted all the friend requests I have been sent as I am unsure who a lot of people are and i makes me feel a bit uncomfortable not knowing .

my suggestion would have been a carbonara sauce made with the cream ham and some egg and using a farfalle ( bow tie ) pasta to catch all the sauce .
Saute the mushrooms and have them as a treat for a starter .
Put the peas in the freezer for another day!
