Re: What are you doing right this minute ????

Didn't Danny say in the Website Complaints thread that they were working on the blogs?  I haven't been able to post or follow links to the blogs for months but thought it was our virus protection think

Frizz, I can't go to the ANZAC dawn service because of my overly-emotional disposition at such things.  Hubby and youngest were up at 4.30 (like a herd of baby elephants creeping around) but I paid my respects later on.  I think it's great that so many young people and kids attend.

I don't ever read the complaints thread, as I usually don't have any! It's just frustrating. I wan't able to even get to the blogs for 3 days, now I can't post a picture...just seems rather difficult for something that should be just a click of a mouse.

Re: What are you doing right this minute ????

I'm sorry all, I am no help as I haven't even attempted to blog yet sad Bit sad really.. should start as of 1st May when I make the BEST apple pie. Ever.

Currently I am typing this message and wishing for a day when our Council (who I happen to work for) will get off their backsides and push for an air carrier to come to our region and therefore enter into a contract with Jetstar or Virgin Blue. I need to travel shortly and the cheapest flight from here to Brisbane (1hr flight, 4-5hr drive away) is work $300!!!!!! Then I'd have another flight to South Australia so that's another few hundred.
I'm better off driving an hour and getting a flight for $179. BUT, naturally that doesn't include luggage so that's an extra $20.  angry

What is it with me and public transport? I must be cursed at the moment!

Oh yeah, and thinking of how awesome Thai Coconut Curry Chicken sausages from the butchers down the road are. Random thought but I think I just figured out dinner!

Keeping my fingers crossed after an interview yesterday, the new job could see me visiting the East End of London and also Newquay. Lots of Foodie possibilities including 15.

Good luck Falconcy!

I have had a super busy week and I have two days of calm (I say with my fingers crossed) before another busy day. The house is a bombsite, so I will be moving slowly around putting things in proper places.

Right now, drinking water and looking between the trees outside the window... and my computer screen. smile

Re: What are you doing right this minute ????

Just got back from the vet.  Tina has had a but if an ongoing upset stomach for a couple of weeks.  Then this morning it got really bad, with her howling in pain, and nipping at me when I picked her up, which is so not like her.  Anyway, they sedated her to do blood tests, x-rays and urine tests.  The good news is that she hasn't got a blockage, they thing it's just a sever inflamation.  So she is on antibiotics and some pain killers, and I'm just waiting for her to wake up properly.  Oh yes, and we're 220€ worse off!  shocked

sad  Poor Tina. Dogs are like babies, when they don't feel good they can't just tell you.  Hope she feels better soon.  I know how you feel on the money end. When I first adopted Lucy I spend over 800 in the first 3 months. She had kennel cough, ear infections, food allergies.....she's better now.
