Tonight I made mushroom & asparagus risotto, something I'd not mixed together before, but it turned out not too bad.

piadinas, squacquerone cheese, datterini tomatoes, grilled courgettes and aubergines, fresh cropped oregano, beer
I do not know why the dough did not work well tonight, it became rubberlike from the moment I mixed flour and water, due to the weather humidity???, and in fact once cooked it was stiff 
and absolutely no bubbles, and me there with a wooden fork waiting to get them down 
....... there was only one left allthesame

I have a beautiful pork loin sitting on the counter. I not too sure yet how I'll cook it , but I know it will be lovely.

Ooh Olivia - Braised Lamb shanks.... sounds good! havent had that in ages.. might do that this week - thanks for the idea
Making a beef bourguignon today - it's just gone into the oven... have fresh tagliatelle and parmesan to go with that...
Preparing some butternut squash & sweet potato soup for tomorrow and tuesday as working late both days... so they'll be something nice already there just ready to be heated up when I get home... happy days!
