Re: Whats For Supper?
We are having meatloaf (Mummza!) pureed cauliflower and roasted orange and purple beets, just need some crunch in there... does toasted pecans go with beet salad or should I use apple?

Re: Whats For Supper?
I'd use the pecans, brain, but that's just me.
Last night was tuna patties, avocado and tomato salsa, potato salad and a garden salad. Not very imaginative but I wasn't in an imaginative kinda mood.

Re: Whats For Supper?
Moules a la Marinere (a lightened version of Robert Carrier's) with beer battered (oven cooked) thick potato fries and a green salad. Lots of sourdough for the juices from the mussels.
Lemon gelato.

Re: Whats For Supper?
I tried a new recipe the other week with chicken and roasted kipfler potatoes on steamed asparagus with a white wine/cream/garlic & grainy mustard sauce. It was a winner so I'm doing it again tonight. Extra veg because I can't just have one type of veg on the plate.

Re: Whats For Supper?
Last night was roast wild duck with a ginger, garlic and honey marinade, served with hasselback potatoes and Brussels sprouts - tonight will be sausages with mustard fried cabbage and mash for those who "need" potatoes.
