Chilis (again)

My wife just came back from the local evening market with some prik kee noo chilis. She informed me that they were very, very hot. So I took a tiny bite just to check. That was 15 minutes ago. I think I'll live.

Re: Chilis (again)

Prior to adding chilis to any dish, I have always just bitten the end off one to check on the heat in order that I can then adjust the quantities to suit my taste. That one yesterday was far, far hotter than any I have tried before.

They looked so small and innocent.

Re: Chilis (again)

it would be fun to watch you test a trinidad scorpion chile like that.     whistle  whistle  I love the heat of those little thai chiles though .  That is what I used in my Tom Kha Gai soup
