Where to buy purple carrots - online if possible.

Hi everyone.

First post so please be gentle.

I'm after some purple carrots. I've had a search online and around my local area but have so far drawn a blank. Can anyone help?

I live in the Rotherham area and can travel a little, but would prefer to order them online if possible.

Hi welcome to the forums,

I get an organic veg box every week and I had purple carrots in it back in April, I got it from here http://www.boxfreshorganics.co.uk, it might be worth contacting them for more info  smile

I had a quick look for you too and probably like you may have, could only find purple carrot seeeds for sale, on sites like Sutton seeds, Amazon etc.

I guess you may have to do it this way and at least have the enjoyment of growing your own!

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm liking this forum already!

It's a bit more urgent than seeds i'm afraid, i was hoping to get them for christmas. But this is a good idea for next year!

I'll drop boxfreshorganics a mail and see what they say.

Sniffmyface - did you succeed in finding purple carrots? I also thought this would be a splendid idea for xmas lunch, but cant locate them!

Welcome to the forum andyo smile

As far as I know many of the Chinese takeaways use a powdered mix to make the curry sauce .
